The all new Hikobike Scout promises a reliable ride, both on and off the road. Its full step through frame makes it an accessible bike for all types of riders and the quality of the components speak for themselves.

We are anticipating that the Scout will be a popular model for riders of all ages and experience. Its practical design and quality components have all been selected with reliability, comfort and performance in mind. Featuring the highly regarded 250W Bafang hub drive motor and a Samsung 48V (500Wh) battery, the Scout is punching!

The bike’s KENDA puncture resistant tyres are designed for potholed roads, as well as gravel bike trails, giving you the ultimate peace of mind that your ebike is hardy enough to stand up to all conditions. The Suntour XCT front suspension forks and suspension seat post provides a smooth ride, and the hydraulic disc brakes give you solid stopping power.

For convenience and security, the battery is fully removable and can be charged on or off the frame. As an approximate guide, the Scout can ride 40 – 60 miles on a full battery*.

The bike comes with LED lights (front & rear) and an additional brake light operated through the Tektro brake levers, helping you to feel safe on the road at any time of day. Combined with the Hikobike pannier, the rear rack is ideal for carrying shopping or supplies and the thumb throttle (7kph start assist) gives you that helping hand on the odd occasion that you want to push your bike.

The bike’s full aluminium mud guards help keep your commuting clothes clean, and the kick stand is a handy extra.

The Scout is a medium sized full aluminium frame and is available in Pacific Blue or Irridian Silver.
